[esc]ape Bio
This avant garde dynamic duo started in ‘99 as fans of electronica and promoters of underground events in Chicago. In the early 2000′s they spent numerous hours among DJs and producers watching, listening, and contributing to mixes and performances. In 2004 after experimenting with the program Reason, they began to utilize nontraditional sound manipulation techniques and automating the rate structure of sounds; blending styles of Minimal, Industrial, Electro, DnB, Dub, and IDM to explore a wide range of audible creation and sound destruction. After years of playing at clubs and hosting parties, [esc]ape signed with Kompute Musik in 2008. They released their first original song for the Kompute Kompliation II album and released their official EP in May of 2010. [esc]ape is currently working on remixes for artists like Mt. Sims and Board of Education. [esc]ape will be blowing speakers up and melting minds with their blaring audio art for all the world to hear. Nothing is safe when these two perform.
